iq140 is proud to present our first compilation, titled 'Hydrogen' after the first element. The album showcases the diverse range of the iq140 sound, featuring a variety of staple artists as well as newcomers. The compilation begins with 'Bug Out,' a bouncy tech-house-influenced track from label favorite Ramorae. The Surgeons make their debut on iq140 after their well-received release on Drumcomplex's Complexed label with 'Systematic,' a deep track full of movement and life. Next up is the stripped sound of C01, with a pulsing techno tool that uses rolling toms and claps to create dancefloor power. DJ Henna's track 'Dog' is a peak-time cut with atmospheric pads and trippy leads that progressively change throughout the track. Wendepunkt provides the penultimate track, a shining example of the iq140 sound, with a dark hook and crisp hats and snares. Finally, iq140 newcomer FRZ closes the release with his melodic masterpiece 'Walls,' a 9-minute epic with a long and ambient intro, perfect for opening or closing any set.
