It is with a sentimental heart that I share one of my favorite songs of all time with you, Jackson Browne’s “Late for the Sky.” My late father introduced me to this song on one of our many road trips along California's Hwy 1, and this song always makes me think of him. This rendition of the title track from Jackson’s classic 1974 album features some of LA’s finest musicians. Produced by Rob Douglas, I had the pleasure of co-creating this cover back in February of 2015 at Mark Rain’s Station House Studio (engineered and mixed by Mark), with Trevor Menear on guitar, Philip Krohnengold on keys and harmonies, Richard Gowen on drums, and Rob Douglas on bass.
