New Frontier is a Contemporary Christian group with a truly unique flavor. Mixing individual group members’ various influences, the band has achieved a pop sound interwoven with strands of Jazz, Blues, Folk and even Funk. This three-piece band consists of Joe Allen, bass and vocals, Chuck Felts, drums and vocals, and Matthew Getsi (Mat Getsi), guitar, keyboards and lead vocals. New Frontier is based out of Corbin, KY and is destined for the world. Throughout the history of mankind, nothing has given more hope and inspiration than the written Word of God. New Frontier has taken verses from the book of Psalms, using exact word-for-word translation out of the New American Bible and put them to music. Why? Music has always been therapeutic, and we wanted to take this even one step further. By singing along with out songs, you will be quoting the very Word of God. There is great power in the Word, and we want to empower God’s people, and maybe enlighten a few along the way that aren’t familiar. This is the New Frontier that we stand for. Taking something that was always there and making it real for people. Showing people how to stand on God’s Word and to make it a real and active force in their lives, thus our goal.
