Walter, of the band Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra (waltermitty1.bandcamp.com) and art collective Making New Enemies (makingnewenemies.com) creates a lot of diverse music from folk to punk to surf to the generally indie and strange lo-fi. His solo work goes under the name "Walter Etc." because he occasionally includes his friends and fellow Making New Enemies artists such as Milk Flud, Kris Schobert, or Weston Bookhouse. Just as much an adventurer and outdoorsman as he is musician, Walter also writes poetry and prose under the alias (he calls his "soul mate") Francis Mayflower, and directs the Making New Enemies' web series Sunday Night Salad under the alias Arthur Might.
