Original compositions, played in Bluegrass style, by some of the best pickers in Bluegrass, e.g., Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Adam Steffey on mandolin, Randy Kohrs on resonator, Kenny Smith on guitar, Ron Stewart on banjo, and Kenny and Amanda Smith on vocal harmonies. Lead vocals by the songwriter, The Rev, John Wiley Nelson, of Provincetown and Portland. Nelson has several Americana cd's, featuring his own compositions, and has now turned to bluegrass. He is a retired theology professor and pastor, who hosts Bradford Street Bluegrass, a three hour weekly bluegrass show on WOMR, 92.1 FM, Provincetown, and WFMR, 91.3 FM, Orleans. He has played in a number of country/Bluegrass bands over the years, including The Highlands, Cucumber Rapids, Life's Other Side, and Willie and the Nelson Brothers. Nelson records at JonyMac Studios in Nashville.
