Townzy or "Jason!" as his mother refers to him has always been one of those cliche bastards who "likes all music". Cutting his musical teeth in his early years on everything from Metallica to Wu-Tang Clan and everything in between. Tho it all changed when he first heard The Chemical Brothers 'Surrender' album for the first time back in the late 90's. Fast forward to 2011 and Townzy bought a set up and smashed bedroom sets non stop for six months until he was given his first shot at playing in a real club to real people. From then on Townzy has sets at most of Melbourne's well known venues and events as well as frequent appearances within infamous Australian "Bush Doof" scene. Always priding himself of being versatile with styles and genres, strongly believing that "every genre influences the next" has given opportunities to play a vast array of sounds what ever the event may be. Come 2013 Townzy finally realised the beast that had been lurking in his musical soundscape for years was called Techno, since then all his focus as gone towards learning the ancient dark art and continuously trying to perfect it. 2014 was a coming of age where he slowly but surely self taught his way into music producing and stepped it up another gear purely for that satisfaction that only music can give.
