About Jeffrey Silverman Jeffrey Silverman is a composer and music producer. As a composer, he has dozens of films and television projects to his credit. His music can be heard on many cable and network channels including FOX, BRAVO, A&E, MTV, THE HISTORY CHANNEL, BIOGRAPHY, and TLC. His film music has been performed by several European orchestras over the years. Jeffrey’s film score, SPARROWS, won a special award in September of 2008 at the Pordenone Silent Film Festival and was played with a live screening at the festival’s opening event. SPARROWS will debut on the Turner Entertainment network in late 2010. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra performed an evening of Jeffrey’s film music in August, 2010 to a fully attended 1,800 seat concert hall receiving a standing ovation. His talents as a record producer and orchestrator have garnered him three platinum records. Jeffrey has over a hundred recording projects to his credit. As a theater composer, Jeffrey has had four musicals presented on the New York stage. Earlier in his career, Jeffrey conducted Broadway shows including Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Song and Dance" starring Bernadette Peters and the original Broadway production of "Les Miserables". Jeffrey divides his time between Los Angeles and New York. He adores his wife and son and wishes that Moshiach would come soon.
