ARVI is the alter ego of Matt Mole from the UK Indie band Scanners. Having spent 7 years recording and touring he took time off to record some of the songs that he had written in that time that didn't fit Scanners more electro sound.

Recorded over a week or so in the wilds of Somerset ARVI has a much more introspective and acoustic feel. The lyrics are sometimes personal sometimes more oblique. The music ranges from the stripped down painfully intimate 'now it's gone' to the epic choruses of 'Halo' or 'She keeps lighting fires'.

The first song on the album, 'Maia's magic hat', was picked up by BBC Introducing in 2016 and played a couple of times on the radio.

Now working on new ARVI material, Scanners are also making the finishing touches on their fourth album for Steve Aoki's Dim Mak.
