简介
Todor Bojadziev is one of the most unique apparitions of the Macedonian music scene. He dedicated his entire life to his basic profession, the medicine, achieving significant results in this field as a gynecology and obstetrics specialist. His copious experience brought to him enormous operative, teaching and social obligation. What makes Todor Bojadziev so distinguishable is the fact that during these years he concurrently developed an exceptional fruitful artistic career: as a composer, an arranger and pianist. This was founded on his vast affection towards the music, manifested ever since his earliest years and a very solid musical education. The first acknowledgment of his talent in this field comes in 1972, when his popular composition "My Distant Memories" (Spomen Moj Dalecen) was awarded on the youth festival in Subotica. That is just a prelude to the number of popular compositions he created during the following years, many of them performed on the then famous Skopje Pop music festival and some of them won the first or second award. In the following years he remained faithful to the popular music, but he also turned to the instrumental music and piano performance, and released his albums Remembering 1 & Remembering 2. He proves his versatility later on, creating music for several theater shows, but the major change comes in the second half of 90's when he turns to classical music. Henceforth, he created a dozen of compositions: solo, chamber and orchestra, which enriched the Macedonian National Treasury of this kind of music. Todor Bojadziev was repeatedly awarded and acknowledged for his work, both in Medicine and Music.
