From the little studio south of the border, Mexmo San Carlos, featuring British bluesman Peter Pope Jones and backed by Leslie Sahlen, this recording is based loosely on the tradtional English folk song St. James Infirmary. Peter's guitar and Delta Blues growl is uniquely framed by cello, string bass, and flute to create a haunting and spooky take on a familiar classic. "Yes Sir, she is dead an gone, with a DOA sign hanging in her hair."
