Formed in 2013, BirdyHop is the London-based musical project of Chris and James Goldsmith. Growing up playing music together on their 'pint-sized' guitars, early jamming sessions naturally evolved into collaborative songwriting and performance, which remains at the core of the group.

The songwriting has consistently reflected the paired-down acoustic roots of the band, however, the close of 2016 saw a shift towards more rock, ambient and alt. sounds; featuring dramatic, searing guitar, atmospheric instrumentation and close harmonies, as heard in 'Blossom Tree' and 'In Over My Head'.
