Recent single ‘Drummers & Lovers’ is the culmination of songwriter Callum Halstead's development. The transition from Two-piece collaborator to band-leader and primary creative force, This change being a catalyst toward more intricate, experimental and creative song writing. “Drummers & Lovers” employs catchy hooks, delay soaked vocals and tight, explosive drumming to deliver a hard-hitting rock tune. The Con & The Liar’s forthcoming sophomore EP ‘Biting’, will be released Mid-June featuring Singles “Drummers & Lovers” and “Sick Seedy”. Offering a five-pronged blues-rock musical attack, TCATL negotiate punchy revved up percussion, howlin’ vocals and bossy, driving guitar hooks; delivering Versatile and engaging performances blending rock and roll with electronic elements. Early 2016 saw The Con and The Liar pack up their live set to introduce their specific brand of fresh, blues-infused rock’n’roll to our brothers down south on their first East Coast Tour, playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
