"Front Page News" is a collaboration of three of Colorado's hottest underground Hip-Hop artists. This album is the idea of GeedUp, but could not have been accomplished without Slim Tone and TGz. The entire project, as we like to say in Colorado, is homegrown. "Front Page News" is exclusively produced by Slim Tone and GeedUp. These two artists constructed all the beats, wrote all of the hooks, and mixed/mastered the entire album. All three of these artists are born and raised in Denver, Colorado aka The Mile High City. TGz is the c.e.o of Money Over Everything (M.O.E) records and has a money motivated flow and the business mind of a mob boss. Slim Tone is the c.e.o of Monumental Ent and is gangster in every sense of the word. He also produces his own hip-hop, rap and r&b beats. Last, but definitely not least, GeedUp is c.e.o of GeedUp Productions. GeedUp has a style all his own and is constantly trying to reinvent his sound. He also produces his beats and writes all his own songs. The artists decided to call the album "Front Page News" because they wanted to tell the story of their lives in Colorado. Like a newspaper reporting the daily news, this album chronicles daily life in Denver, what better way to talk about all the different things happening in Colorado.
