California born Michael Pogue A.K.A. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL is bringing to the music world not only a new sound, but a sense of purpose. When you listen to his songs, it's like talking to that best friend that you haven't seen in a while. His strong voice and clever word play, coupled with his interrelation of styles create the perfect mixture of HIP HOP and R&B. MICHAEL has done numerous performances in clubs throughout California, from Mavericks Flats, Club Lingerie, to Gold Fingers just to name a few. MICHAEL has blazed tracks from producers such as the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. LEAGUE who have produced for artists like, MARY J. BLIDGE, YOUNG JEEZY, and many others. MICHAEL has also worked with producer KDE who has produced tracks for artists such as LiL Wayne, and Raje on his first gospel album titled Words To Live By.The talent of this young man is driven by his ambition and love for his craft. MICHAEL paints a picture of his life through his lyrics for the world to share his life experiences. After being diagnosed with cancer early in his life, he thought not only could it kill him, but also kill his dreams of sharing his gift with the world. After undergoing a year of treatment and surviving the numerous surgeries, he realized that he almost never got to live out his dreams, or even see his kids grow up. At that time it seemed to him that adversity was following him around personally. But never the less with the grace of GOD, he managed to make a full recovery and go on to become the man he is today, a proud member of St. Luke C.O.G.I.C. With all these things in mind, MICHAEL started to live each day like it was his last, and still has so much more to accomplish. So just remember as long as we are alive anything is possible.
