As a singer, performer, and guitar player, Machura’s original blend of folk, blues, rock, and country-based roots-music with his band, The Marv Machura Band, has a reputation for high-energy, guitar-driven live performances. Following the musical tradition of contemporary folk-roots artists like Fred Eaglesmith, Steve Earle, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, and John Denver, Machura's music and live act have a wide demographic appeal.
