Nobby Clark was lead singer and a founder member of The Bay City Rollers. He sang on all of the groups earlier hit records including Keep On Dancing, Remember, Manana and Saturday Night which was a number one in America. He left the band to pursue a solo career and his first single Steady Love was released on the Epic label to critical acclaim. He later changed record companies and signed to Phonogram where he recorded an album of original songs including Shake It Down which was the single chosen to promote the album. In the late seventies and early eighties Nobby stepped back from front line performing and set up a recording studio in Edinburgh and proceeded to search out young talented song writers and performers and helped kick off the careers of many successful artists. He continued writing and got involved in film music and promotional jingles and enjoyed success in this field. Never having lost his love of music, it was inevitable that something new would emerge. If Only was Nobby's first album for two decades and shows his ability to write heart wrenching lyrics on haunting melodies, produced by his long time friend David Paton. It was a further four years before his next album, Going Home was completed and his many fans around the world have been crying out for something new. The latest album On The Inside is now available. Also produced by David Paton, it is said to be his best work so far and includes the songs Wonderland and Good For You.
