Tomislav Goluban, Croatian blues musician, is playing his harp since 1997, inspired by old school masters like Sonny Terry, Gary Primich and Joe Filisko, just to name a few whom he still admires today. Performing solo/duo or with a band, he has played in the USA (25thIBC, Memphis, TN), and in some 20 European countries. Here are just a few events in which he hasparticipated: Notodden Blues Festival (Norway), Amal's Blues Festival (Sweden), and Blues sur Seine (France). Tomislav has won several of Croatia's most prestigious annual national music awards, and debuted at # 49 on the Roots Music Chart for the Week of May 13, 2015 with his 6th studio album titled "Blow Junkie." He is the founder of the ethno blues festival in his home region of Zagorje, just north-west of the Croatian capital of Zagreb; he also educates young people, and hosts a blues radio show on the Croatian national radio station. When Goluban creates an album, you never see what's coming. He's been recording his music from raw Delta duo sound to a full instrumental arrangement with up to 20 musicians playing one song. On his 8th studio album "Kaj Blues Etno," Tomislav Goluban, the music ambassador of Zagorje, delivers 21 tracks - several traditional Zagorje songs and an abundance of new, self-penned material.
