Live At Deanna's [1996]

A collection of past and contemporary jazz standards that also includes Deanna's own compositions. Recorded live at Deanna's thriving club in the East Village, NYC. Her sidemen are the same senior Harlem jazz musicians who accompanied Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong. They frequently graced Deanna's club until 4 AM.

Deanna's reflections:

"I hold a special place in my heart for this recording. It was my first commercial release. It was an honor to record with the great musicians that played at Deanna's many of which were legends in the jazz world. The songs we selected for this release authentically show what it was like to be at Deanna's on any given night."
