The CD is produced by myself and co produced by Atma Anur. Atma kept me focused and added his production expertise to this record. He also mixed all of the drum tracks. Atma is an incredible talent in every way shape and form. The highest caliber of musician I've met in a long time. His ears are GOLD!! The CD was recorded in a very different way. I sent the rough mixes of just myself and drum programming to Stu Hamm first. Stu recorded his parts in San Francisco then sent the bass parts as a wave file back to me in New York. I put the wave file in the track and then sent the track to Atma in Poland. Atma learned the songs with Stu and my drum programming. Atma of course took the drums to another level. He then sent the tracks back to me in New York. Of course with Stu and Atma now inside the tracks I was so inspired to finish my guitar parts. I did all of my overdubs in the next few months in my studio. At this time here is the weird part,Atma mixed the drums to his liking and sent them to me. They sounded perfect!! A finished drum sound for sure. Then I had to mix the record. Well I never mixed a record with the drums already mixed. I had to hope that I could mix the bass with the drums already mixed. Well with some bass and very minor drum tweaks it worked!! I was now on my way to finish mixing the whole record. Man was I thrilled at what I was hearing. The record could not have been done without the technology available to us. I hope you all enjoy the music as much as we do. I WAS BORN IN NEW YORK CITY,STARTED PLAYING DRUMS AT 7 YEARS OLD. I PICKED UP THE GUITAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. I RECEIVED A BACHELOR DEGREE IN MUSIC COMPOSITION FROM QUEENS COLLEGE. ALL THE WHILE I WAS PLAYING IN BANDS FROM THE TRI STATE AREA. IT WAS AT THIS TIME I RECEIVED ENDORSEMENT CONTRACTS WITH SOME OF THE BIGGEST MUSIC MANUFACTURERS IN THE INDUSTRY.THESE INCLUDED,FENDER,PEAVEY,ROCKTRON,AND HARTKE,GHS,AND GEORGE L'S. WITH THE SUPPORT FROM THESE GREAT COMPANIES I HAVE DONE CLINIC TOURS NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. WHEN MY FIRST CD CAME OUT,I WAS APPROACHED BY A MANHATTEN PUBLISHING COMPANY TO COMPOSE MUSIC FOR NETWORK TELEVISION. THESE SHOWS INCLUDE NFL FOOTBALL,MTV,VH1,JERRY SPRINGER,HBO,TO NAME A FEW. I AM WORKING ON MY NEW CD WHICH SHOULD BE RELEASED June 28th 2011. EVER SINCE THE GUITAR PLAYER WRITEUP IN THE APRIL 2008 ISSUE AND ADS GUITAR PLAYER HELPED ME WITH,(AUG.SEPT.OCT.2008),THINGS HEATED UP QUITE A BIT. ALSO,LOOK OUT FOR THE NEW "BERT ELLIOTS SCHOOL OF ROCK MUSIC". I WILL BE USING MY NAME AND EXPERIENCE TO MAKE THIS SCHOOL THE NUMBER ONE ROCK SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY AND ABROAD. My new CD is in the Guitar Instrumental genre. In the style of Jeff Beck,Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson. I have some very special musicians playing on this CD, Bernie Williams,Stu Hamm,and Atma Anur.
