It is estimated that there are 54-650* million people with physical disabilities throughout the world. 20% of them are American. That's the equivalent of 6 NYC's! The number of TV shows displaying characters with physical disabilities is 2%. With such a large segment of our society so vastly underrepresented in the entertainment industry, it gives that the impression that we don't exist, or that physical disabilities are so shameful and ugly that they cannot even be displayed in public. This makes it hard for people with disabilities to even muster the confidence for normal daily activities, much less romantic relationships. "Not the King" will be a short therapeutic music drama video production to battle this misperception . "Not the King" production is a story based on my life and how I've learned to think and feel about myself. I want the newly physically challenged to understand that it is how you feel about yourself, not what others think about you, that makes you who you are. Enjoy the music.
