简介
Bessemer, Alabama's Lonnie Loc represents a new breed in the rap game. He doesn't try to glamourize life in the streets but instead Loc presents an honest picture of his life and struggles. Hailing from the cradle of the Civil Rights Movement, he provides razor sharp poetry sure to make you think. His soulful voice and powerful lyrics have many comparing him to Scarface. He doesn't glorify the 'streets' but instead uses his life experiences to reach the youth in hopes of giving them an option beyond the troubled path that some have embarked upon. This grind is also evident in his music career as he has already worked with legendary west-coast rapper, MC Eiht and has opened for Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Too Short, 8-Ball & MJG, T-Rome, Pastor Troy and Project Pat. Lonnie Loc's first single, 'All Blue' featuring MC Eiht, became an underground hit and he follows that up with the soulful single 'He Didn't Give up on Me' produced by Durdy Muzik. The powerful track brings home the stark realities of life on the street.
