Since forming in July 2004 'First Signs of Frost' (Owen Hughes-Holland - Vocals/ Guitar, Adam Mason - Guitar, Simon Poulton - Bass and William Gates - Drums) have made a significant impact on the underground scene, pushing boundaries with their unique blend of technical instrumentation, epic soundscapes and soaring melody. Driven by their passion for music and strong commitment, the future for this band is looking extremely promising. FSOF have shared the stage with the likes of Mahumodo, LostProphets, The Reunion Show in the past and have recently played along side: Sikth, Beecher, Architects, Enter Shikari, Dopamine, Skirtbox, Days in December, The Blackout, Firstborn and Devil Sold His Soul to name just a few. The band have been causing a stir nationwide and have recieved press coverage in the likes of Rock Sound, Big Cheese and Salvo magazine among others. Aswell as winning over fans as far affield as Japan, Europe and the USA. 2007 is already proving to be busy for FSOF, with the release of their long awaited 2nd EP ‘The Lost Cause’, out later on this year through Zestone Records (Japan) plus upcoming tours to follow promoting thier new release and then begin writing material for a full length debut album.
