KAYLA HAWKINS (Vocals) Kayla Hawkins was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. At an early age she began performing in both plays and musicals. At the age of 13, after the passing of her mother, Kayla began putting pen to paper. She found that song writing provided her a way to express thoughts and feelings she otherwise struggled to put into words and explain. She entered her first singing contest at the age of 13, which ignited her passion for singing and performing. Since then she has performed at multiple fairs, festivals, and clubs in both Wisconsin and Tennessee. Currently Kayla lives in Tennessee where she continues to pursue her passion for music and strives to write songs that will touch the hearts of many. She is the mother of three married children and grandmother of nine. She didn't start writing seriously until she was in her 60's. This was one of the first songs she wrote after her husband encouraged her to write a Christmas song. She also started entering her lyrics in contests. This led to her winning a semifinalist placement in the International Song of the Year Contest. Linda loves to tell a story, communicate a message or create plays on words when she writes and hopes listeners will feel her passion for the subject matter of her lyrics.
