Jon Notty hails from Goldsboro, NC aka "Webbtown"!!!! Rap artist DURRELLE PEELE aka JON NOTTY aka RELL NYCE officially signed a music contract with J.O.T. & J.O.T. RECORDS back in 2006....but J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO & RELL NYCE aka JON NOTTY met years before that through JON NOTTY's cousin, JAZ aka JEFF BURDEN, who attended college at NC STATE with J.O.T. while JON NOTTY was attending NCCU in DURHAM, NC. They all started recording songs together in the 90's at PHAT TRAXX STUDIO in DURHAM with studio engineer LESLEY BLAIR. After JAZ retired rapping J.O.T. & JON NOTTY kept in contact & JON NOTTY would send J.O.T. songs that would be featured on J.O.T. RECORDS various artists 12" VINYL PROJECTS. In the summer of 2003 J.O.T. RECORDS had been invited by LUTHER CAMPBELL of LUKE RECORDS to perform at the UMOJA FESTIVAL in MIAMI, FLORIDA because he liked the songs that were featured on the NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT 12" VINYL RECORDS that had been put out by J.O.T.'s indie label. JON NOTTY was asked by J.O.T. to perform with him down in MIAMI in hopes that the two could form a professional music business relationship together. A year & a half later the two soon recorded a song together...the half SPANISH half ENGLISH remake to J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO's song "PARA GANAR" written by J.O.T. & remixed by EDDIE KANE at FORTUNE 500 STUDIO in RALEIGH, NC. Soon afterward that's when the music contract was signed between JON NOTTY aka RELL NYCE & J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO. After a indefinite waiting period for other J.O.T. RECORDS cd album projects being promoted that had been released previously before the contract signing, JON NOTTY's highly anticipated album is finally unleashed for the world to hear!!!!
