She was surrounded by musicians on her mother and father’s side of the family. She grew up loving music, math and science. She attended gifted classes in school and academics came naturally for her. She was placed in dance and choir at church and fell in love with live musicianship, harmony and overall music composition. She performed with a group called “Sincere”, performed with the stepteam, cheerleading and chorus. It was no surprise to everyone when Reesy recorded her first song her senior year. “Teresa emerged as an independ artist a.k.a. Reesy Wright. I ventured into modeling and acting and participated in a short film and a play. I have learned that the entertainment world is not always what it seems. I continued my education by obtaining an Associate Degree in Medicine and started attending the University of Miami the spring of 2009.
