It is preceded by the critically acclaimed debut, A Beautiful Road, two EPs, and several singles. The songs on Stories from Atlantis include observations of love and longing, history and time. Personal tributes to Haddad’s rich cultural heritage take form as ‘Jdita’ and ‘Spinning Yarn’. There is an ode to inventor and visionary Nikola Tesla (‘Waiting on the Sun’). ‘Blink’ was sparked from a vivid dream Haddad had soon after a friend’s passing.
