Cameron James Henderson was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Henderson started singing in church choir at the age of six, a few years later he began writing songs. While improving as a songwriter, he grew vocally through participation in regional and national honor choirs.

Henderson began making YouTube videos in May 2010. Now with 200,000+ subscribers, and almost 25 million total views, the rising YouTuber continues to show his talents and creativity through music videos, covers, choreography, and comedy skits. While his main focus is building an online audience, Henderson also performs at local events and has even performed on live television. (Oklahoma Live KSBI 52). With a core of soul and R&B, Cameron J has branched off to try many different genres, including Pop, Jazz, Neo Soul and even Rock. "Tales from a Scorpio" is Cameron's latest project, an album telling the past 2 years of his life through Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop tunes.
