She cites musical influences such as Sarah McLachlan, KT Tunstall, and Rachel Yamagata. Cheri graduated from college with a degree in media music, after which she began recording her music. She has performed all over the United States – on stage, television, and the radio. She was honored as Utah’s “Best of State” vocalist in 2005. Cheri plays in venues ranging from the large amphitheaters to high schools to intimate house concerts. Having many diverse interests, Cheri enjoys taking care of her own booking, publicity, and management. “Pursuing music has given me many opportunities to stretch as a person. The experiences that have come are much greater than my original childhood dream of singing.”
