Spoken Word is definitely not your average female artist when it comes to Hip Hop music. On After the Pain, her performance is geared more towards educating, uplifting, and inspiring others. She has made a huge impact in the underground Hip Hop movement starting from little town Suffolk, VA all the way through Southern, CA. Some say that her metaphors promote self awareness, human rights, socialism, self identification, and spirituality, all while moving the crowd inwardly and outwardly.
