Le Passage de l'Air is an excursion through the temporal soot of existence. Overlayed field recordings, manipulated tape loops, and dreams of granular pads are sprinkled along the way.

A level of non-fleeting attention and patience creates a musical space within the harmonies and subtle accents of sound, as well as the presence of air surrounding the environment of the recordings. The material lends a pathway to the listener, allowing them to escape elsewhere, if not just for a moment. Le Passage de l'Air presents that same relief and detachment from start to finish.
