ASHLEY BRIGGS is a 17 year old Country Singer/Songwriter from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ashley started writing songs in the 7th grade and hasn’t stopped since. Ashley has performed her originals in major Nashville venues like the Bluebird Café and Tootsies. She has written songs with Nashville songwriters that have created quite a stir in the music world. Some of the songs have resulted in the following: Island Cowboy has over 48,000 hits on youtube and will be made into a video this year Shades played in the Justice Clothing stores across the country this past spring Fly her inspirational song is featured on the Hallmark Channel’s show Cedar Cove staring Andie MacDowell – Episode 9, Season 1 Ashley has sung the National Anthem for thousands at the Roger Dean Stadium and for the Miami Marlins to a crowd of over 24,000. Other than her originals the National Anthem is one of her favorite songs to sing. Ashley has been interviewed by both television, radio stations, and newpapers from Florida to Nashville to Maine. She is one of the original members of Tunes for Tots, an organization which raises money for the Make-A-Wish foundation and has performed in over 17 fundraising shows for the TFT organization. Ashley has donated her time and talent to the Relay for Life organization in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. She was one of the 4 finalists in the national Voice of an Angel competition, placed third in the 2012 Texaco Country Showdown local competition and was the winner of South Florida Country Music’s Favorite Local Female Solo Artist in 2012. Ashley placed 3rd in the Florida’s got Talent competition where she held her own against industry professionals who have toured with major shows one of which being Dream Girls. Ashley is dedicated to her gift, her work, her fans and her dream. She has become very prominent in Florida’s music scene over the last two years and is now ready for another major step both in the U.S. and internationally.
