2016 was a year of exploration and soul searching for Olivia May. Having to let go of other music projects and "give up on music", she spent the year re-examining what making music really meant to her and why she even wanted to do it anymore. Going back to square one and re-defining the type of artist she wanted to be, she found her closest friends and music producers were more than happy to create the songs she had inside that were dying to exist. Blending pop melodies, rock guitars and instrumentation with electronica influences beats, Olivia May is spearheading a whole new genre she likes to call Hard Pop. She's pop princess meets hard rock diva meets performance artist. Olivia May lives in no box, as "Tonight" is only the beginning of her story and a very small portion of the full spectrum of style and sounds she exists within. There is so much more to come.
