简介
'3am' is the debut EP of singer, songwriter and comedian Jude Perl. A satisfying mix of funk, pop, jazz and soul, this independently produced EP showcases not only Jude's irresistible vocals, but the beginnings of her unique songwriting style. Heavily influenced by Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Carole King, Patrice Rushen and Michael Jackson, Jude has undeniable classic pop sensibilities in her writing and delivery. Her first single 'Girls & Boys' received regular airplay on commercial radio all over Australia (including on Fox FM and 2Day FM) which is an incredibly rare achievement for an independant artist. Jude was interviewed by Ella Hooper and Ben Wasley on Aus Top 20 where she performed her track live, as well as Sia's 'Clap Your Hands'. Her music video for ‘Girls & Boys’ was also shortlisted for the 2014 SoundKilda film festival “Hard to fault something as bouncy and grinning as this” -Triple J “When it comes to crafting the catchiest of pop tunes, this Melbourne musician hits the nail on the head” -The Ripe “The sheer, cultivated talent of Jude Perl singing and on the piano is undeniable.
