Coming at a transitional time in his life, Kit has created an album of funky solo piano tracks. Initially titled "Backbeat", Taylor places great emphasis on tempo, time, and a solid groove. With the band Safire, Kit just released a single he wrote called "Half A Man". It's a rock/fusion opus featuring a deliciously funky groove and some luscious harmonies, as well as Steve Killen's ridiculously crushing electric guitar.
