After appearing on the hit reality TV series RuPaul's Drag Race and touring the country, Honey Mahogany finally delivers her highly anticipated debut EP: Honey Love. The EP is a collection of both original music and cleverly arranged cover songs. Honey Love includes the song "Shoulda Known Better" (as seen on the HBO series "Looking") as well as a haunting rendition of "Feeling Good" that envelopes us in an aura of vulnerability and sadness, while simultaneously invoking the essence of new beginnings, internal strength, and determination. Honey's penchant for retro sounds emerges in the soulful tune "Take Him from Me" and in the upbeat but bluesy "Mountain." The album is rounded out by a second cover song; a pleasantly refreshing spin on Madonna's early hit "Lucky Star."
