Rider Left Behind showcases the essence of Iranian Traditional Music and Persian Poetry by having four rhythmic songs, five vocal improvisations, four instrumental and four declamation. This compilation is composed and arranged in Dashti (one of the Iranian Musical Modes) and is performed by one of the well-known Iranian music bands among youth, Vesal Ensemble. Some of the music and vocals were recorded ten years ago and the declamation part was added two years ago. The album finally was remixed and remastered last year and since female singing is illegal and forbidden in Iran, Rider Left Behind was produced and published in Canada.
