Upwordz is part of the burgeoning gospel hiphop movement on the west coast. His newly released debut album “the upward call” has a revivalistic theme which pertains to the Christian message of salvation and sanctification in Jesus Christ. His music includes uncompromised biblical theology contained in carefully constructed creative rhyme schemes set to melodic beats. His freshman album “the upward call” is based on the call of God on his life and the call of God for all sinners to come to repentance. This Spirit filled lyricist brings heavily annointed songs that edifies and encourages the body of Christ. His passion is to glorify the gift giver and see multitudes of lost souls come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Residing in the greater Los Angeles area, Upwordz is involved in several street evangelism teams and is currently enrolled at Harvest Bible University working towards his bachelors degree in biblical theology.
