Taking place in the same time period as part one, these stand alone anecdotes, chronicles of weird events and back stories are all things that played an important role in the overall story arc covered in the first part of this trilogy. It tells tales of dream related phenomena like time dilation, sleep paralysis and OBEs, of the questions that these states lead one to ask about the nature of reality and our place in the universe, of the ultimate deconstruction of strongly held belief systems resulting from the interaction with one's own mind while in these states and, the revelations that the freedom from these limiting beliefs brings about. The musical evolution continues as Stewart pushes forward with new experimental sounds, elements of prog metal combined with old school prog rock, while also paying homage to the classic style that Citizen Cain were renowned for.
