简介
A deep love and passion for singing, songwriting and piano playing became evident in high school around 1983 for a Jamaican youth from West Midlands, England. Later on in college, it became a natural career choice for the man we come to know as Sugar Massive. Music has taken Sugar from his home in England bi-coastal to the United States, Jamaica, and several other European countries. Sugar -- who calls Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Marley some of his many musical influences -- has performed at many venues and night clubs and is the recipient of many awards. Some credits to his musical career are performances with: Dennis Brown, Sugar Minott, Freddie McGregor, John Holt, Shabba Ranks and many more. He has had the pleasure of working with several producers at major Jamaican studios, such as Earl “Chinna” Smith at the Mixing Lab, and Sly and Robbie at Black Scorpio Studio, London, England. Sugar Massive is also an alumni of Studio One under the leadership of the late, great Sir Coxsone Dodd. Working with RockStone Music over the past few years, Sugar Massive had been very busy polishing off some bonafide gems for the world, and now these gems are unleashed in a debut album aptly titled "Musical Conqueror". "Musical Conqueror", the latest release on the RockStone label, produced by Sugar Massive and Patrick Taylor, is a fine blend of Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, and Soul with songs for every mood like "I'm An Addict", "Games", "You Are My Everything", "Don't Quit", and so much more, not to mention special appearances from RockStone artists Dilli Dalle and Lazarus. Whatever you do, don't miss this one, Sugar Massive is coming for your hearts, your minds, and your souls. He comes to conquer the world... musically.
