Seventh son of a seventh son, Ralph Lewis is steeped in a deep heritage of traditional mountain music. This 83 year old musician has been pickin a mandolin of 80 years with a storied career that has taken him to Europe, Japan, and all over the US as a Bluegrass Boy with Bill Monroe and with his own bands. In this 2011 Release from Western North Carolina's favorite band Ralph is joined by his sons Marty and Don, along with newcomers Lauren Habenicht and Mary Ellen Bush to bring you an eclectic blend of traditional country, Appalachian jams, and soulful ballads.
