Bev Johnson, a Dallas TX native, started singing at Greater Emanuel Church at age 5 . She accepted Christ as her personal savoir at the age of 8 and has been singing traditional and contemporary gospel since then. Bev has sung in numerous community and church choirs. She has provided back-up vocals for the (late) Orlando Draper, the “Voices of Faith” Greenhill Baptist Church, Clarksville, Tn. Bobbie Jones (Nashville, TN), and Evangelist Beverly Crawford. She sang on the sound track of the BET movie “He ain’t finished with me yet” with the Celebration Choir under the direction of Sylstea Sledge. She has also sung with Northern Virginia Music Workshop Choir under the direction of Minister Maharold Peoples. She is a member of the First Mount Zion Baptist Church (Dumfries, VA) under the leadership of Dr. Luke E. Torian. She is a faithful member of both the Women and Mass Choirs and is currently the praise and worship leader for the “Worship and Praise Ensemble”. God has now inspired Bev to record her first Gospel CD, titled “My Praise, My Worship.” It is Available Now!
