Floor Ready present the 'Time Is Never Wasted EP' by JoyB. A producer that is no stranger to the label, JoyB delivers three original tracks in an EP that has the theme of time at its core. 'Just A Few Centuries' helps to kick the EP off in style, with a detuned synth line that loops and screams throughout. Talented Italian producer Stefano Infusino is on remix duties, condensing the synth line down and pushing it further into hypnotic territory. The percussion is ramped up in this version, with a carefully programmed array of hihats and claps ticking away. 'Trust In Time' is a darker affair, with a spacey howl sitting behind the melodic toms and clock-like percussion pattern. The final track of the EP, 'It's All About Time', sees JoyB switch direction into a more melodic realm. The track oozes character, with eroded pads and chord hits combining with a lo-fi analog sound to neatly wrap things up.
