The Gowanus EP was produced in a lockout room about 50 yards from the Gowanus Canal, one of the most polluted waterways in New York City. Tracking for the EP was done in a span of six days during late December 2010 and final mixing was completed in January 2011. New Atlantic Youth gave out and digitally released the Gowanus EP on January 28th, 2011 at release party held at King Killer Studios. Engineered and mixed by Ian Elkind; Cover artwork by Dan Fogarty.
