Harmonious Gathering was a night that captured the hearts and minds of the audience on Friday the 11/11/11. This unique ensemble comprises of Melbourne leading world music instrumentalists. Hailing from many different parts of the world – some historically adversarial – the ensemble members are fusing their diverse cultural backgrounds into an exciting & original live music filled with organic improvisations. The music delivers the energy of that sacred night-11.11.11 When we came together as one for the first time, only for this special night to play in unity with the intention of spreading peace and harmony through sound and music in our community and across the globe. “1st CD includes: instrumental sound journey with Crystal singing bowls & world music instruments & also a set of original songs with organic collaboration of the ensemble. 2nd CD includes a set of sacred devotional songs from different cultures in multiple languages such as English, Hebrew, Sanskrit, Spanish, Latin & Arabic May it open your heart and uplift your spirit! May it promote peace & harmony on planet earth! This is a self funded production; please support the artist- practice respectful music sharing Now here is the story for the detail lovers... On the 11.11.11 I produced a massive concert in Melbourne. I hired 11 very talented musicians, 2 live sound engineers, 1 sound recording engineer, 2 video producers, 2 photographers, Light effects guy and a team of human angels for service at the night. I hired a large town hall, paid the insurance, organised Catering services, did a massive street & social media promotion and got interviewed for radio and community TV. Then I coordinated rehearsals with 11 very busy musicians, produced and organised the night itself on top of performing and presenting it to 400 excited people that came to enjoy it, yes I also packed up everything, paid everyone, did the accounting and had my first baby boy being born the week after the concert (fewwww....that was close). Yes I did it all by myself, $10,000 production with no backup or support by any sponsors or organisation. Thanks to the beautiful people who came to the concert I managed to cover this massive production costs but didn’t got paid as a producer (well just another charity). Then Over period of 15 months I worked on the long mixing stage that finally ended in Feb 2013 and yes was funded by humble me alone, crazy... I know! Why did I do this to myself? Because it is my passion, it is my vision and it is something I believe in! I believe that I/We can make a difference in the world by creating music with intention of peace, love and harmony! It is basic understanding, we are made of vibration, everything we think/feel/do create a vibration and therefore whatever vibration we create and send out into the universe affects the global/universal vibration! I want to believe that by releasing this CD I help humanity to open our hearts and achieve Harmonious life with and on the earth. For that reason I collected musicians from different parts of the world (some historically adversarial) in this Live concert recording the ensemble members are fusing their diverse cultural backgrounds into emotional, uplifting & exciting original and sacred chanting music. The music is mostly organic, based on pure inspiration around the main structure of the songs. The intention was to show how we can all be and play music in unity regardless of our backgrounds or believes. Blessings, Amos Hasson About Amos Hasson: Amos Hasson is a Melbourne-based sound therapist, musician, and music producer, originally from Israel, and working professionally in Australia since 2007. He has contributed as a session musician to a diverse number of professional International and Melbourne-based musical projects, including; performing with the Matthew Fagen Flamenco Show (2011-2012), various high profile events for Peter Mousaferiadis’s Cultural Infusion and Pan International (2010-2012) including the ‘Federation square’ - ‘Australia Day concert 2008’and Government official ceremony for international students, An Australian tour with Internationally known Iranian musician ‘Davood Azad’ (2012), and A National TV appearance on ABC’s ‘Art Nation’ show with Sudanese singer Ajak Kwai (2010) and many more. Through his independent Music Production business ‘Hallelujah Productions’ (Formed in 2007) he has produced and promoted a large number of independent music productions which most of them had been a ‘sold out’ events throughout Victoria including; ‘Sparks of Creation’, an independent Music Production (2008-2013) which gave performances for a federation Square Australia Day event (2008), and a Docklands ‘Oaktree Foundation’ event (2008); - “Global Village” Live music night, Funk Del Mundo’ 4 piece percussion band, ‘O-Carnaval’ Multicultural percussion ensemble, A Melbourne CD launch of Isreali Singer/Songwriter ‘Noam Blatt’ (2012), 'With one voice' concert by Creativity Australia, two large ‘Harmonious Gatherings,’ World Music concerts featuring 10 other distinguished Melbourne-based musicians (2011-2012) and many more. Amos Hasson is also a practicing Sound Therapist and holds regular private treatments and workshops from his clinic in Carnegie, Victoria. Through his Sound Therapy company ‘Healing Delight Pty Ltd’ (Formed in 2010) Amos facilitated hundreds of Meditation groups, private sessions and special events/retreats to a vast amount of people from wide variety. He has produced a successful number of sound therapy Workshops, seminars, and concerts throughout Melbourne, Gippsland, Geelong, and Daylesford (2011-2012) all of which created an impressive recognition towards Amos and his activity within the Victorian community and the alternative medicine industry.
