On December 18, 1990, a music genius was born in Suffolk, VA by the name of Wesley Green. He was born as the son of Marcus Williams and Patricia Green. Wesley is the 5th sibling next to the youngest and has three sisters and a brother. At the age of two, he acquired the nickname and stage name "Boolane" from his grandmother Mavis. At the age of 8, His grandfather, Wesley Williams purchased him a Karaoke machine, where he discovered his true passion for music. His grandfather later built him a shed so that he could have his friends over for recording purposes. At the age of 11, he met Keyon Everett also known as "Yung Key” who became his close friend. Together, the two formed a group called the F-Block all-stars, where they released their first mixtape using the karaoke machine. Boolane met super producer "Lex Luger," at around 13 and saw that they could really record using the industry standard. "It was my first time being in an actual studio", Boolane says as he looks back on those days, and a smile engulfs his face. When he turned 15, his grandfather purchased him a mixing board, piano, Cubase, mic, and other record studio equipment to help him pursue music. At the age of 18, he put his dream on hold and joined the US Army, where he is currently working. While away from work in the Army, he has traveled all over the contry, meeting top music icons such as Lil Boosie, J. Cole, Rich Homie Quan, etc. He also recorded at top studios such as Patchwerk, Streetz Exec, 3MG and many other big studios. He is an independent artist signed to no label or group. He says a deal will come at its time, but right now he is just working on building a solid foundation. He does not believe in handouts, so he purchase or make his own beats, engineering, video and other pertinent items. He recently added an upscale studio in his house so that he could record do everything by himself.
