Beautiful Nubia (Segun Akinlolu) was born in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1968. He trained as a veterinary doctor and worked in that field for several years before eventually becoming a full-time musician. His debut album titled, "Seven Lifes" was released in 1997 and he has followed that up with 9 other critically acclaimed albums, including the ground-breaking 2002 hit album "Jangbalajugbu", which has sold in excess of a million copies. His latest, released in 2014 is "Keere", and he's showing no signs of slowing down.
