Saxophonist Steve Carr and Keyboardist Alan Oldfield spent years together doing session work on TV and Film in Los Angeles. Besides working for major studios they also composed and orchestrated numerous underscores for various Independent Features.

In their spare time they recorded many albums of jazz in Alan's Studio. This is the first of several upcoming releases. The sidemen on this album are the best in L.A. They have performed in numerous L.A. jazz clubs together. The highlight of Steve's jazz career was a tour of Japan with the Benny Carter Big Band including featured performers Dizzie Gilespie, Phil Woods, Johnny Griffen and vocalist Marlena Shaw. Steve also had a 3 year run with a rock group "The Dancehall Pimps". Additionally he is co-owner of SR Technologies, a company which manufactures high end saxophone mouthpieces.
