Born in Orlando and raised in Syracuse, R3LIC first ventured into the world of music as a 6-year-old. He took up piano lessons for over 10 years, played trumpet for over 7 years and violin for 2 years. R3LIC discovered his passion for electronic and dance music in high school when he had a dream. He had a dream that one day he would be known for his music, for the sole purpose of bringing people together. He could care less about the fame and fortune, all that mattered to him was making people smile and connect through music. R3LIC started writing music in April of 2017. He began with a free software called “LMMS” which was subpar, but it didn’t stop him from his dream. He began writing music and published his first song on SoundCloud called “Bright Lights”, which took to the skies as he got over 400 plays on it as a new artist. He continued making music until he realized that he needed to step up his music quality to make it. He purchased FL Studio and it was everything he had hoped for. R3LIC is a college student studying mechanical and aeronautical engineering while doing what he loves most, making music. Many times, he is faced with dry spells and periods of constant work where he cannot make any music, but he always finds time to destress through music somehow. R3LIC believes that you should never give up on your dream no matter how stacked the odds are against you. It is ultimately you who decides when enough is enough, so never back down!
