BUGZY- CAPITOL CALIFORNIA RECORDING ARTIST, MUSICIAN, PRODUCER AND SONGWRITER “I’m Made, No New Jack, walked the block before, been here done that, probably clapped your folks”-Bugzy On-line digitally and consignment in Sacramento, CA will be the introduction of an album long overdue for 7 years. “The Kings Bible” releases independently July 4, 2014 under Made Life Records as a mixtape. Self Made was the empowerment behind the image, structure, and determination. It was also the name of Bugzy’s first album released in 2000. Self Made a group produced and created by Bugzy and presented by Hitworks Productions under the Record Label Paper Chasin' Productionz proclaimed independent artist’s comprised of young fresh talent. Bugzy proclaimed motivation, and hustle for impressing and surpassing all obstacles that stood in his way. This album was his first completed project after Sub Zero featured him on “Sacramento’s Most Dangerous”. His first feature was on song titled “Something’ 2 ride 2”released 9-16-1997. Dayton, Ohio is his birthplace but North Highlands raised him. At the age of 13, Bugzy was taken into the rap world like many young kids finding themselves through life on the streets. By Volume II of Self Made “Flight 420” released 9/11/01 and distributed by Dog Day Records, Bugzy was well on his way into making a name for himself in Sacramento’s rap underground. From there Bugzy released a compilation mixtape “Get Breaded” in 2004. Featuring 19 tracks and appearing on 11, Bugzy maintained being consumed with releasing his first solo album the same exact year. Self-titled and self made album “Bugzy” released 18 tracks with an instant classic, “What a fool I was”. With lyrics, “I aint been myself but it’s not cause I’m famous, I’m not. I’m still on the block where it’s danger-ous. Street smarts strictly because the streets done trained us”……..”Tears from her sad eyes rest on my shoulder, she broke down when I told her it was over. She feared for me, knew I was back to the same things. She wanted better for me, I couldn’t change.” Unforgettable and relatable creating fans for life. Bugzy’s 2004 release “No New Jack” featured a song “Can I touch Your Braids” that received a great amount of rotation on Sacramento’s hottest radio station KSFM 102.5. This album released 5 singles that changed the face in Sacramento’s independent underground rap industry. All five of these songs received radio play and started a buzz on the streets that Bugzy would put Sacramento on the map. That same buzz filled show after show with fans reaching out trying to touch his braids! The talent, confidence, stage presence and essence that comes from this Highlands raised rapper has brought him to work with an assortment of idols and inspiring performers. Bugzy has had the opportunity to work and perform with Snoop Dogg, TQ, Yukmouth, E-40, Doey Rock, The Pack, Tech N9ne, Paul Wall and JBo from the Young Bloodz. Not to leave out the local known talented artists he surrounds himself daily with from his hometown. Bugzy has a reputation to uphold in the underground rap industry that keeps the fans asking for new music. “The Kings Bible” is his first approach from a 7 year break to let the fans know he is back. With his mindset ready for the new age hustle that music can be created much easier now with digital recording, he plans to drop at least 4 more albums. Bugzy plans on working on solo albums because “not everybody can match my level of motivation” he says. Inspired by all genres of music but primarily artists like 2pac, Jay-Z, B.I.G and Scarface he states “I pick the music but I prefer to let the music pick me.” Be on the lookout for his silent but deadly approach to killing the rap game once again. His drive behind his force has matured, gained knowledge and even humbled down. With new management he plans to shock fans and have the radio waves flowing with what all Sacramento’s love to hear, more Sacramento music!
