I am a Lebanese singer/songwriter/visual artist. I may have come up on the Lebanese underground scene, but with my last 2 albums making it to number one seller at Beirut’s Virgin Megastore it would be fair to say that I have well and truly hit the big time in Beirut. Growing up in the midst of the country’s civil war, I have remained pretty loyal to my home town and its cultural renaissance in the post-war period over the last few decades. As well as having worked with a veritable ‘who’s who’ of the local and international scene, the likes of Ziad Rahbany, Charbel Rouhana, Toufik Farroukh, Houssam Ramsey, Steven Last, Miles Copeland and Natasha Atlas, I composed the lyrics and coached the singers on Khaled Mouzannar’s soundtracks for both Nadine Labaki’s films "Caramel" and "Where Do We Go Now?".

Although my status may have made it into the mainstream, my music still retains its unique charm, combining smart realistic Arabic lyrics and melodies with up tempo beats oscillating between East and West with warm and honest vocals. I have been telling the story of the Lebanese and Arab youth ever since I began my musical journey. My music accompanies the reality of the people living in this part of the world and makes me one of the top Arab independent artists in the region.

مغنيه / كاتبة أغاني / فنانه تشكيليه لبنانيه. ربما أكون قد بدأت مشواري على الساحة اللبنانية للموسيقى البديله، ولكن مع وصول ألبوميّ الأخيرين للمرتبه الأولى للمبيع في فيرجن ميغاستور في بيروت، فمن المنصف القول انني حققت نجاحا" واسعا" على الساحه الفنيه في لبنان. نشأت في خضم الحرب الأهلية اللبنانيه، ولكنني ظللت وفيّه جدا" لثقافة بلدي كما أنني شاركت في النهضة الثقافية والفنيه اللبنانيه لما بعد الحرب على مدى العقود القليلة الماضية. وبعد أن عملت مع عدة فنانين كبار من الساحة المحلية والدولية، من أمثال زياد الرحباني، شربل روحانا، توفيق فروخ، حسام رمزي، ستيفن لاست، مايلز كوبلاند، وناتاشا أطلس، كتبت كلمات الأغاني ودرّبت المغنيين في الموسيقى التصويرية لفيلمي نادين لبكي سكر بنات، وهلأ لوين لخالد مزنر

على الرغم من أن موسيقاي أصبحت مشهوره محليا" لكنها لا تزال تحتفظ بسحر فريد من نوعه. فهي تجمع بين الصوت القوي والصادق، الكلمات الساخره (بلغه عربية بأسلوب سهل ممتنع) والألحان الشرقيه والغربيه في آن معا".موسيقاي إيقاعها قوي وجذاب وكلماتي سلسه وواقعيه. هذه الأغانيّ كانت وما زالت تحاكي واقع الشباب اللبناني والعربي منذ أن بدأت رحلتي الموسيقية وهي التي جعلتني واحدة من أهم الفنانين العرب المستقلين في المنطقة
